No more notch screen
Perhaps the biggest change to iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max is to remove the notch (or notch). Notch was first introduced on the iPhone X, but it took generations for this feature to be completely removed.
Even so, the notch replacement feature on the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max may not please everyone due to the two cutouts on the screen, including a punch-hole and a pill-shaped punch. This is an imperfect solution that leaves the screen still more intermittent than most Android phones, but Apple needs to accept to accommodate Face ID components.
Camera 48 MP
Apple rarely upgrades the camera on its iPhone, but this year there will be big changes, with rumors indicating that the 48 MP main sensor will be used instead of the 12 MP found on the iPhone 13 series, although only applies to iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
Apple has maintained a 12 MP camera on the iPhone since the iPhone 6S series launched in 2015 screen capture techradar |
That would bring a major upgrade to the already impressive imaging capabilities of Apple’s flagship iPhones. It also allows for 8K video recording, up from 4K on current phone models. Of course, it remains to be seen whether the change in lenses will actually make a difference, despite a lot of expectations given the improved camera quality on the device.
Stronger
This is probably the most obvious and expected upgrade when the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max come with a new A16 Bionic chip that is more powerful than the iPhone 13 Pro series. It is likely that these phones will be increase RAM from 6 GB to 8 GB, although another source says that 6 GB is still the RAM level on the iPhone 14 Pro series.
The strategic change lies in the iPhone 14 and 14 Max when they still stick with the current A15 Bionic chip. Basically, if you want an iPhone with a more powerful chip, users need to spend on the Pro versions.
Always On Screen
Many Android phones offer an Always On display to show notifications or the time even when the screen is off, and this feature may also appear on the iPhone 14 Pro series.

This information comes from reputable source Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, who claims Always On can be activated as part of iOS 16and the phone screen can then reduce the refresh rate to 1 Hz, which saves battery life on the device.
Bigger battery
Users have always hoped for bigger batteries in phones, or at least better battery life in one way or another, and it looks like the iPhone 14 Pro series will do just that when a source says the battery in the phone. will be bigger this year.
It’s not yet clear how this improves the battery, but given the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s impressive battery life, the battery life on the iPhone 14 Pro Max should be awaited.
