Ho Chi Minh City reviews the collection rates of goods temporarily imported for re-export, goods in transit, goods transshipped; review the conformity with international commitments and treaties to which Vietnam is a contracting party (including the Agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of Cambodia on waterway transport); At the same time, consider adjusting the reasonable fee rates for imported and exported goods transported by inland waterways according to Directive No. 37/CT-TTg dated September 29, 2020 of the Prime Minister. on promoting the development of inland waterway transport and coastal transportation by means of inland waterways.

The Deputy Prime Minister asked the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to study and absorb the opinions of ministries and agencies, and soon submit them to the City Council for consideration and adjustment in July 2022; strengthen the work of information, propaganda and explanation to businesses, associations and related agencies to create consensus when implementing fee for seaport infrastructure in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Finance to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with concerned ministries and branches in, monitoring the situation of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee’s adjustment to the collection of fees for seaport infrastructure in Ho Chi Minh City, and reporting to the Prime Minister for consideration and consideration. , command.
