Accordingly, following the direction of the Director of SYT, the Heart Institute had a meeting to agree with the Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital:
– From June 8, 2022, the Heart Institute will stop accepting blood directly from blood donors (who are relatives of heart surgery patients) and will introduce voluntary blood donors to the Blood Bank of Blood Transfusion Hospital. Ho Chi Minh City students donate blood voluntarily according to general regulations.
– From June 9, 2022, Heart Institute ensures blood preparation for patients’ heart surgery by receiving blood from Blood Bank of Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital.
