Harriet Peace shared that: “When Tango passed away, I was deeply saddened, I could not take him to be cremated and buried. I consider him as a child, it is a great loss for me.”

Therefore, Harriet Peace decided to contact the service to embalm the cat to keep the cat with her for as long as possible. Some of her friends have suggested performing the embalming process using various oils and chemicals to preserve the pet’s body, maintaining its lifelike appearance.

However, the embalming service that Harriet Peace knew was located in England, she had to accept a long distance and a large cost. Despite the difficulties and high costs, after his death, Tango’s body was transferred to a pet embalming service facility in London, England.

The whole mummification process took 7 months, after which Tango moved back to Harriet Peace in a sleeping position in a box. The cost that Harriet Peace had to spend was about 5,000 USD, equivalent to about 116 million VND.

However, not all relatives and friends besides Harriet Peace support her decision. She was quite worried at first but as soon as she saw the cat back, all of Harriet Peace’s worries disappeared.

“I can’t believe it. Tango’s fur and everything is amazing. It looks like a sleeping cat, very realistic. I’m so glad I can still keep the cat by my side. At first, I was very happy. I was worried because I didn’t know what the cat would look like after mummification. I was afraid it was the wrong decision.However, when I received the cat back I was very surprised, it was all worth it. It is exactly Tango. while I was alive. It was the best decision I’ve ever made,” Harriet Peace said.
