USA: 10-year-old girl shoots dead man with a gun and fights with her mother

Suddenly, Mrs. Isaac’s daughter took a gun “fired 1 or 2 times” at Mrs. Rodgers, causing the victim to die at Orlando Regional Medical Center. The little girl said, “You can’t hit my mother.” According to police, Mrs. Isaac gave the bag containing the gun to her daughter during an altercation with Ms. Rodgers.

Florida state authorities said on June 7 that the girl had been arrested and could face second-degree murder.

Ms. Isaac was also arrested on charges of manslaughter, child irresponsibility and contributing to a gun crime. Authorities are looking into the case but have not yet decided whether to charge the girl. The girl is currently being held at the Florida Department of Family and Children.
