A 10-year-old girl in the US shot and killed a man who argued with his mother

Orlando City Police Department has detained Girls 10 years old at a juvenile detention center on June 7. The girl’s mother was also arrested and charged with many crimes.
Prosecutor Monique Worrell said her office has already begun looking into the matter and will take into account all the facts, including the girl’s age and all surrounding circumstances.
“This is one of the most tragic cases I’ve seen in my 22-year career,” Worrell said. “This shooting is an unimaginable tragedy.”
According to Reuters news agency, the incident happened on the night of May 30. At the time, Lashum Rodgers, 41, was cooking with her boyfriend in the back of her apartment building in Orlando.
Then, Lakrisha Isaac, 31, with her daughter came in and started arguing with Rodgers about a recent incident between the two. When the two women started fighting, Isaac’s 10-year-old daughter pulled a gun from her mother’s backpack and shot Ms. Rodgers.

Police said the girl shot twice, hitting Rodgers in the head, killing him. According to her boyfriend, Rodgers, while still holding the gun, the girl shouted: “She shouldn’t have hit my mother.”
Isaac took the gun from his daughter’s hand, pointed it at her boyfriend Rodgers’ chest, then fled into the house with his daughter.
Police arrived to arrest Isaac, charging her with manslaughter, neglect of a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and assault with a gun.
