Bao Quoc celebrates 60 years of being in the limelight

After two years, the stage situation stalled because of Covid-19, Bao Quoc shared that he was very happy to reunite with the audience. During the past time, many programs and shows have invited invitations, but Bao Quoc has not yet accepted the invitation to return to the stage. Until grandson – artist Gia Bao – persuade him to make a long-term show to satisfy his singing pleasure.

Although the preparation time was only about a month, Bao Quoc was very happy to have a supporting cast of veteran stars. At this moment, only an invitation from “Bao Quoc show” can gather a large number of reformed stars such as Bach Tuyet, Minh Vuong, Ngoc Giau, Le Thuy… In which, artist Ngoc Giau When she heard the invitation, she emphasized that only Bao Quoc’s program could join her. The comedian shared that he wanted to spend this program focusing on cai luong and honoring cai luong.

With more than “60 years of life” sublimated under the spotlight, the artistic journey of Meritorious Artist Bao Quoc in the honoring night is shown in 3 chapters: The first time he fell in love with art when he was in the famous Thanh Minh troupe – Thanh Nga, the “First Comedian of the South” and the Golden Generation of Vietnamese Cai Luong.

In the first chapter, Bao Quoc, together with Thanh Hang, Thanh Dien and Tu Suong will recreate the last part of the excerpt “Daughter of Sister Hang” – a very famous play by the reformed troupe Thanh Minh Thanh Nga. Bao Quoc also had an interesting collaboration with three famous artists: Bach Tuyet, Le Thuy, Ngoc Giau in an excerpt. The Meritorious Artist also selected a folk excerpt full of laughter – the excerpt “Don’t Sell My Love”, so that fans could meet the comedy duo Bao Quoc – Bao Chung again.

Artist Huu Chau is the program’s general director. Bao Quoc said he believes in Huu Chau to bring to the show a youthful, new and modern look.

The show takes place on Sunday, July 3 at Tran Huu Trang Theater. This is also the exclusive show of Meritorious Artist Bao Quoc after more than a decade since the first concert was held in 2011.
