Confessions of a man who assaulted a girl in an amusement park in Hanoi
On June 9, the Hoang Mai District Police (Hanoi) summoned Mr. Vu Trong D. (SN 1988, residing in Team 1, Ta Thanh Oai commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi). Mr. D. is the person accused of assaulting a 4-year-old girl at the amusement park in Linh Dam urban area, Hoang Mai district.
According to initial information, the incident happened at about 20:30 on June 7 at a bookstore in Hoang Liet ward. According to the image from the surveillance camera at the play area in the bookstore, the 4-year-old boy was taken to the bookstore by his mother, then went to the ball house to play alone.
The Man Who Was Summoned
While playing here, I accidentally hit the ball in the face of a man wearing glasses, in the ball house. Immediately after the incident happened, the man slapped and hit the girl with his hand, causing the girl to panic.
The girl’s family said that when she got home, the girl was always crying and scared. After checking the amusement park surveillance camera again, the mother discovered that her child was beaten by a stranger and reported the incident to the Hoang Mai District Police. At the same time, as soon as the clip was shared, many people angrily asked the authorities to trace the identity of the man in the clip to handle it strictly.
Immediately after receiving the information, under the direction of the unit’s leader, the Criminal Police Team of Hoang Mai District Police, in coordination with professional units, urgently investigated.
On the morning of June 9, after receiving a report from the baby’s father, the Hoang Mai District Police Criminal Police Team identified the man who assaulted the 4-year-old child as Vu Trong D. and summoned to the Police Agency for clarification.
At the police station, D. confessed that that night, he also took his children to the bookstore, then into the ball house area. Being hit in the face with a plastic ball by M.’s nephew, D. could not control himself, used his limbs to hit the baby 2, 3 times.
Expressing regret about his behavior, D. apologize to baby M. and his family for his hooligan behavior. CAQ Hoang Mai is consolidating the file and handling the case in accordance with the law.
Currently, the Criminal Police Team of Hoang Mai District Police is consolidating the file and handling D. according to regulations of the Law.
