Global Startup Competition VietChallenge 2022 extends registration to participate until June 30

Competition “Global Startup – VietChallenge“The 2022 season officially kicks off from the beginning of May 2022 with impressive and attractive innovations in terms of opportunities and prizes. The contest has received applications since May and will be extended until the end of June 30// 2022.

In this 7th season, all the finalist teams will be sponsored by the organizers to attend the Finals event in New York City, USA. After many years of being affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, VietChallenge this year wishes to bring Vietnamese startups to the financial center of New York for the opportunity to build closer relationships with investors.

In addition to the total prize value of more than 50,000, all participating startups have the opportunity to call for investment capital up to 100,000 from VietChallenge’s network of more than 60 international investors.

The highlight of VietChallenge 2022 is the Investment Festival with more than 60 investment funds worldwide. Especially, this year, Investor Day will apply completely new and interesting technologies and increase interaction between startups and investors.

All startups participating in the contest have the opportunity to participate in VietChallenge Venture Club – a special exchange and sharing program between startups and investors in VietChallenge’s network. The program is held monthly with many special guests and many interesting experiences in the field.

Due to receiving many requests from startups wishing to have more time to complete the fundraising file, VietChallenge has officially announced to extend the registration until June 30, 2022, and at the same time begin the appraisal process (due) diligence) for the startups that have submitted the application.

The semi-finals are expected to be held in July 2022, and the 6 most potential startups will be ready to go to New York, USA by the end of this year. The series of Networking events and the Finals are scheduled to take place in New York in November 2022.

VietChallenge has achieved excellent results during the past 6 seasons. Since 2015, VietChallenge has helped elevate more than 800 startups to compete from over 20 different countries, and has awarded more than $300,000 in cash to the participating teams.

Besides the startup competition, in 2021, VietChallenge will expand the scope of co-organizing a charity campaign to support Vietnamese children affected by COVID-19 and the Trans-Pacific Blockchain Roundtable, bringing together Industry leaders share ideas about bringing blockchain technology forward. Carry Forward project has raised USD 302,000 to help orphans during the COVID-19 pandemic and students affected by COVID-19 in Vietnam. Of which USD 60,000 was raised in the Final Round.
