Israel urges people to be careful with the COVID-19 epidemic

The call was made in the context that Israel on June 7 recorded more than 3,700 new cases of COVID-19. Israel’s Minister of Public Security and Health Minister are also now confirmed to have been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

In the latest announcement, the Israeli Ministry of Health recommends that people wear masks in closed public places, on public transport and when near people at high risk.

In addition, the ministry also called on Israelis to complete their COVID-19 vaccination, get tested if they have symptoms, and self-isolate according to general guidelines when they are sick.

Experts from the Israeli Ministry of Health are expected to discuss on June 8 the possibility of deploying the fifth dose of the vaccine to subjects in the high-risk group.
