Landslide caused the house to collapse, the couple and their son were lucky to escape death

On the afternoon of June 9, news from the People’s Committee of Quan Son district, Thanh Hoa province said that a landslide had just happened in the area The ground caused a house to collapse, leaving 3 people trapped inside, fortunately escaped death.

Before that, at about 20:30 on June 8, when Mr. Pham Ba H. (SN 1974; lived in Quarter 5, Son Lu town, Quan Son district) with his wife Lu Thi N. (SN 1981) and Pham Bao L.’s son (SN 2011) was watching football when he suddenly heard a landslide on the side of the house.

When Mr. H’s family could not recover, the house on stilts collapsed completely, leaving him and his wife and son trapped inside.

Fortunately, Mr. H. and his wife were promptly supported by the people and functional forces, taking all 3 out, including 2 people with minor injuries.

The functional force supports the family to overcome the consequences

On June 9, the functional forces of Quan Son district moved 7 households (23 people) living near the scene, with high risk of landslides to a safe place.

According to initial statistics, the landslide did not cause any loss of life, however, it caused damage to Mr. H’s family with an estimated amount of 2 billion VND.
