This year’s 10th grade exam in Ho Chi Minh City has 150 test sites, including 139 regular exam points and 11 specialized exam points, with more than 3,900 exam rooms.

The entrance exam for class 10 in Ho Chi Minh City took place on June 11, 12.
Students compete in 3 subjects including: Mathematics, Literature, Foreign Language.

The duration of the foreign language exam is 90 minutes.
Grade 10 admission test score usually = Math score + Literature score + Foreign language score + Consolation score (if any).
Candidates will be able to register three priority aspirations 1, 2, 3 for admission to grade 10 of public high schools (except Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted and High School for the Gifted, University of Vietnam). If a student is not admitted to a specialized school, the gifted class will still be able to enroll in the 10th grade of high school.
This year, there are nearly 95,000 candidates taking the 10th grade exam, of which more than 86,000 students registered for the normal 10th grade entrance exam, more than 6,400 students for the specialized exam, and more than 1,300 students for the integrated English exam.
The examination committee arranges a maximum of 24 candidates/room. Ho Chi Minh City mobilized nearly 11,900 teachers to administer the exam, nearly 2,000 employees, security guards, police… to perform their duties at the test sites.
