Notes in the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City

The 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City will take place in two days, June 11 and 12. Tomorrow (June 10), candidates will be present at the test site to practice exam regulations and check personal information.

A new feature of this year’s regulations is that candidates’ carry-on items (except for items allowed to be brought into the exam room) must be kept 25m away from the exam room. Regarding the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City said that officials, employees and candidates must wear masks during their stay at the test site.

Each test site is prepared with 3 or more backup exam rooms, each room fully meeting the requirements of epidemic prevention and control to handle cases of disease symptoms. Each exam room arranges up to 24 candidates, each student can sit at one table or ensure distance, the exam rooms are well ventilated and not air-conditioned.

Exam sites plan to separate streams, arrange for family members to pick up candidates, strictly follow epidemic prevention and control measures, and do not gather crowds around the test sites.
