According to the development orientation to 2030, the logistics center system in Thu Duc City includes 4 centers: Long Binh Logistics Center, scale of 50 hectares; Cat Lai Logistics Center, scale of 200 – 292 ha; Linh Trung Logistics Center, scale 60 – 74 ha; and the Logistics Center of the Hi-Tech Park, with an area of ​​5 – 6 ha. Occupying 4/7 logistics centers in Ho Chi Minh City, Thu Duc city is the place that attracts the most logistics services of Ho Chi Minh City.

In particular, Tan Cang Cat Lai Port is ranked as one of the largest feeder ports in the world, in the top 30 largest ports in the world in terms of throughput. The annual growth rate of the transportation and warehousing industry is 7.30%, accounting for 12.77% of the structure of the trade and service sector.

“Hopefully, in the near future, the city will reconsider the problem of traffic infrastructure, expand roads, build more bridges, and have a larger bridge load to receive goods smoothly as well as separate the route to the port from the road. If possible, the city should create a turning road, bringing the route from Nhon Trach to zero along with the route to Cat Lat port, avoiding the often congested route,” said Trinh Quang Tuan, Cong. “In case we can solve the traffic problem to Cat Lai Port as well as to current ports, digitize procedures, modernize procedures, reduce costs for businesses, businesses are also very happy, this is the case.
