Police broke two layers of doors to save 5 people in a burning house in Hanoi

Police promptly rescued 5 people who were crying for help in the burning house at dawn.

At about 0:02 on June 9, the Hanoi Police received a fire alarm at a house at 147 Nguyen An Ninh, Tuong Mai ward, Hoang Mai district (Hanoi).

Soon after, the police arrived at the scene of fire fighting and rescue. Initially, the fire was determined to start on the first floor with an area of ​​​​about 3m2 (extended area of ​​the house) and there was no sign of fire spreading into the motorbike parking area inside. At this time, the victims moved to the roof area of ​​the house, shouting for help.

Police used tools to destroy 2 layers of doors (1 layer of iron door and 1 layer of rolling door) to fight the fire and approach and reassure victims on the 3rd floor.

Realizing that the fire was under control, toxic fumes were released, the police guided 5 victims (1 elderly, 2 couples and 2 children) to escape by stairs to a safe location.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the police.
