Report lost nearly 100 gold
Ca MauMr. Le Kha Ly, the owner of the jewelry store, reported the loss of nearly 100 taels of gold worth about 3 billion VND, the door had a crack, the camera recorded someone breaking in.
On June 9, Ca Mau Provincial Police said it had received a report from the lower-level police and was clarifying the case.
Four days ago, Mr. Ly, 47 years old, reported to Thanh Tung Commune Police about a thief breaking into a jewelry store in the commune market area, taking away 20 taels of 24k gold, 70-80 taels of 18k gold. At the scene, the police noticed that the iron door of the shop had traces of being pry open, and the security camera recorded a man breaking in.
Mr. Le Quoc Bay, Chairman of Thanh Tung Commune People’s Committee, said that due to the nature of the incident beyond his authority, the file was transferred to the provincial police for investigation.
