On K. Mizra’s website, the company revealed that the Samsung lawsuit was filed in the Dusseldorf district court in Germany on May 20. They say that K. Mizra’s remaining battery life prediction is implemented in Samsung Android devices, in violation of patent EP 2 174 201 B1 filed in Germany. The company goes on to say that the invention provides a quick prediction of how long the remaining battery will be used to power the smartphone.
