In April 2022, Cam Lo District People’s Committee issued a decision approving the results of the third land use right auction, 2022 for 27 land lots in Cam Lo town and Cam Tuyen commune.

It is worth mentioning that Cam Tuyen commune is in the mountainous area of ​​Cam Lo district, during the land auction process, the government offered a starting price of 250 million VND for a land plot of 450m2, but the winning result was an urgent lot. 4 times the starting price.

Of the 27 land lots that won the auction, 11 were announced with a winning value of nearly 18 billion VND with a deposit of 1.3 billion VND. However, after winning the auction, the land buyers did not pay enough money to win the land use right auction according to the regulations but silently “turned the car”, accepting the deposit.

“According to this decision, the entire amount of this 1.3 billion dong is remitted to the district budget; The canceled land lots that won the auction will be put into the auction in the following rounds,” said Mr. Cuong.

Previously, in mid-2021, the mountainous district of Dakrong (Quang Tri province) held an auction of land use rights in lots on both sides of the T4 route, Krong Klang town.

At that time, the average starting price of each plot of land was more than 200 million VND, but the winning price at auction ranged from about 400 million VND to more than 700 million VND.

However, up to 8 customers won the bid 3-4 times higher than the starting price, but then did not pay enough winning money, forcing the locality to make a decision to cancel the result.

As a result, the total number of land plots winning the auction was 58 lots on a total area of ​​more than 12,500m2 with a total winning amount of more than 191 billion VND.

According to regulations, within 30 days from the date on which the Dong Ha Cam Lo Regional Tax Department issues the notice, the auction winner must pay in full.

Because there were 9 customers who did not pay enough money, on January 28, 2022, the People’s Committee of Dong Ha City decided to cancel the recognition of the winning results of the auction of 2 land lots in the West Residential Area of ​​Lock Bao Street and 7 land lots. in the North Hieu River Resettlement Area.

Pushing prices sky-high to create a virtual market?

As for the Dakrong District People’s Committee, the next land auction will raise the deposit price from more than 10% to a frame rate of 20% so that if the customer leaves the deposit, the budget will also get a relative amount. .
