The new Nissan Almera has hot air conditioning, an increase of 10-16 million VND
The new version of the B-size sedan will have hot air conditioning and some new equipment such as leather seats, electric folding mirrors, automatic headlights.
Dealers said preparing to sell a new version of the Nissan Almera with unchanged design. The EL and VL versions change the emission standards from Euro 4 to Euro 5 with the same equipment, the price of the EL version increases by 10 million to 539 million and the VL version increases by 16 million to 595 million.
In the previous version, the car did not have hot air conditioning because it was imported from Thailand, the market did not need this function. Currently, the distributor has fix this shortcoming for customers who bought a car. With the new version, the default car has added hot air conditioning.
In terms of equipment, the EL (CVT) version switches the turn signals from the wheel arches to the rearview mirror. The VL (premium CVT) version adds electric folding mirrors, overflow rearview mirror, automatic headlights, leather seats, and a screen with Android Auto instead of Apple CarPlay as before.

Almera still uses 1.0 turbocharger, capacity of 100 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and maximum torque of 160 Nm for the 5-speed EL (MT) version, 152 Nm for the CVT version, both reached in the 2,400-speed range. 4,000 rpm. Other equipment on the car remains the same and the vehicle size remains unchanged.
Currently, the car is no longer favored as much as in 2021 due to supply constraints, imported from Thailand, especially the MT version is more scarce than two automatic transmissions. However, some dealers still maintain preferential rates for accessories such as glass stickers, floor coverings, dashcams… This accessory package is equivalent to 8-15 million VND which can be converted into cash depending on each authorized dealer.
Nissan Almera is a makeover version of the Sunny that sold poorly before. Compared with fierce competitors, the high-end CVT version of Almera has equipment for the first time in the segment such as a 360-degree camera with collision warning, blind spot warning, and cross-traffic warning.
However, the Almera lacks the things that all competitors have, which is cruise control, air-conditioning vents for the rear seats. The car has a smart key and ignition, but there is no remote ignition feature like Honda City, Hyundai Accent.
Currently, the distributor VAD does not announce sales for Nissan models in Vietnam.
