VN-Index surpasses the resistance level of 1,300 points

The demand increased gradually from the beginning and especially increased strongly in less than 30 minutes at the end of the session. The sentiment was somewhat eased when the market surpassed the resistance of 1,300, perhaps the reason for the market to spread in green.

GVR contributed the most to the index when it increased to its full range. Consumer group joined MSN and electricity group contributed PGV in the top 10 leading stocks in the market. Among the 10 codes that contributed the most to the index, there were 7 banking codes. Notably, STB and SHB hit the ceiling price.

The real estate group, which was quiet and under pressure to take profits recently, also saw DXG hit the ceiling today. NLG, IDC or ASM all increased by more than 5%.

Along with real estate, the construction and materials groups also flourished, with VGC, DPG and IJC all dyed purple. HUT, HBC, or SZC also increased by 4-6%.

The positive news is that ETF inflows into Southeast Asia last week reached an 8-year high, and were mainly aimed at Vietnam, with a total value of $85 million, mainly led by VFMVN Diamond. The recent announcement that this foreign fund will continue to launch one more ETF simulating the MIDCAP group index also raises many expectations about attracting more cash flows into the Vietnamese market.

Closing morning session, VN-Index increased by nearly 20 points to 1,311.14 points. Technically, this is the driving force for the index to move to the next milestones at 1,325 or 1,345 points. On HOSE this morning, there were 385 green codes, compared to only 62 red codes. In the VN30 group, the ratio was still 26 green codes and 4 red codes.

Similarly, HNX-Index increased by 6.14 points to 310.29 points. The breadth was not as impressive as HOSE, but the number of advancers was also overwhelming with 138 stocks compared to 51 stocks in red. Market liquidity reached 10,762 billion dong.
