8 candidates taking the 10th grade exam in Ho Chi Minh City had an accident and couldn’t write

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, this year there are 94,076 candidates 10th grade entrance exam, of which 6,484 candidates registered to take the exam to attend specialized schools and specialized classes; 1,035 candidates registered to participate in the integrated program.

The whole city has 150 test points, including 139 normal test points and 11 specialized test points with 3,953 exam rooms, of which 3,642 normal grade 10 exam rooms – 24 candidates/room, there will be 3 more backup exam rooms at each test site. Each district has from 1 to 3 backup test points.

The Department of Education and Training mobilized 11,859 teachers to act as exam administrators and 1,800 employees, security guards, police officers, etc. to do their duty at the test sites.

Up to now, only 1 student in F0 category has been recorded; 8 cases where students had accidents and could not write. The Department of Education and Training has instructed the leaders of the test sites to perform the examination in accordance with regulations to ensure the interests of candidates participating in the exam: arranging for candidates to take the exam in a backup exam room, with 2 officers. monitor the exam. In which, an exam administrator assists candidates in taking notes, while the other examiner performs supervisory duties. In the exam room, there are audio and video recorders installed.

In addition, the Department of Education and Training has prepared facilities to receive exams from the Departments of Education and Training and move them back after each exam day and exam session. At the test sites, they have coordinated with the local health department to disinfect before the exam day. Heads of test sites develop plans and guide candidates to properly implement: assigning gates to groups of exam rooms; measure body temperature in groups of exam rooms; frequent hand washing; appoint members to guide candidates straight to the exam room; not allow gatherings and exchanges before and after the exam; monitor the health of each officer, employee and candidate before entering the test scores.

Arrange hand sanitizer solution at a convenient location for users; there is enough clean water and soap in the toilet area; arrange trash cans with lids to collect and treat garbage to ensure hygiene.

Tomorrow morning, June 11, candidates will start taking the Literature exam, and the afternoon will take the Foreign Language test.

On June 12, candidates take the Math test in the morning, and the Specialized and integrated test in the afternoon.
