The Kremlin spokesman also stressed that no country would want to isolate itself.

On the ground, fighting in Ukraine has entered its fourth month. Both sides are focusing on fighting in the city of Sievierodonetsk in Lugansk province. Lugansk together with Donetsk Oblast form the Donbass region in eastern Ukraine. Russia’s control of this city could bring Moscow’s troops closer to their goal of controlling the entire Donbass region.
