Saudi Arabia suffered a big loss before the match against U23 Vietnam

U23 Saudi Arabia did not have the strongest force in the match against U23 Vietnam in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Asian U23 tournament.

In the last match of Group D, U23 Saudi Arabia defeated U23 UAE 2-0, thereby maintaining the top spot when equal on points, but with a better coefficient than Japan U23. With this result, Saudi Arabia faced U23 Vietnam of Coach Gong Oh Kyun in the quarterfinals of the tournament AFC U23 2022.

Avoiding a strong Korean opponent, but Saudi Arabia U23 suffered heavy losses in the quarterfinals. Accordingly, the two pillars of this team received yellow cards for Ibrahim Mahnashi and captain Saud Abdullah. Both were suspended for the next match of the tournament for receiving 2 yellow cards.

“I haven’t seen it yet” U23 Vietnam competed, but they passed the group stage so it was also formidable. We still have time and will thoroughly analyze this team.” Coach Saad Alshehri evaluated the upcoming match against coach Gong Oh Kyun’s team.

The match between U23 Saudi Arabia vs U23 Vietnam will take place at 23:00 on June 12.
