The highest standard score for 10th grade majoring in Social Sciences and Humanities is 33.5 points

This year, the High School for the Gifted of Social Sciences and Humanities received more than 1,000 applications for the 10th grade exam. 10th grade entrance exam This year’s school took place on May 29 to select 75 students for the Literature major class, 35 students for each History and Geography class. Match rate entering specialized classes is from nearly 1/6 to 1/9, the Literature class has the highest competition rate. In addition, the school recruits 30 students for a high-quality class.

The highest score for admission to the Literature major class is 33.5, the Geography class with 28.5 and History 28. This level is the sum of the three points of Literature, Math, and English plus the points for the specialization subject multiplied by a factor of 2. The school does not add priority points in enrollment, does not consider admission directly.

In order to take the exam, candidates need to have a grade of academic ability, conduct of the school year and graduate from high school with good grades or higher. Candidates will take 4 written exams including Literature, Mathematics, English and Specialization. The exam is built in the form of essays with Literature (90 minutes) and specialized subjects (150 minutes), multiple-choice tests for Math and English (45 minutes for each subject).

For successful candidates, the time for them to confirm their admission is before 5:00 p.m. on June 19. The school plans to hold admission on June 25.
