In the film’s short trailer, Princess Buttercup (Robin Wright) asks Westley (Cary Elwes). “Then why is there fear behind your eyes?” Carano appears to have responded to the outraged comments on her social media activity that has been circulating for a few days.
As is customary, reactions to Carano’s latest post have been mixed. Some fans backed the Cara Dune actress, while others voiced their displeasure and others simply expressed their thoughts on The Princess Bride (Spoiler alert: everyone loves it).

It’s unclear whether the above poster was referring to Marshal Cara Dune, who operates on Nevarro, or Mos Pelgo Marshal Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant); who killed a Krayt Dragon on Tatooine with the assistance of Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) as well as a Tusken Raider clan in The Mandalorian Season 2, episode 1 (“Chapter 9: The Marshal”).
Carano’s future in the Galaxy War is currently unknown. Jon Favreau, the show’s creator and showrunner, and executive producer Dave Filoni have not said whether she will be cast in future seasons. Season 3 of The Mandalorian has been confirmed, as has one of its spin-offs.
The upcoming Rangers of the New Republic was rumored to be written as a Cara Dune spin-off even though her season two storyline spins around becoming Marshal.
