Big explosion at gas extraction facility
Binh PhuocFire broke out after a loud explosion at a gas station, causing serious burns to two people, damage to many properties, on the morning of May 20.

Around 9am, people in Son Tung village, Tho Son commune, Bu Dang district, heard many loud explosions coming from the facility to extract gas. Moments later, a fire engulfed the factory over 250 square meters.
Hearing the shop owner’s wife’s cry for help, many people rushed into the fire to take two seriously burned victims to the emergency room. Binh Phuoc Fire and Rescue Police dispatched three fire trucks and 20 soldiers to put out the fire. To limit the spread of fire, the rescue force took 15 large gas cylinders out.
By this afternoon, the fire was basically under control. In addition to causing injuries to the owner and wife of the shop, the fire also destroyed the entire factory, burned 7 motorbikes and many other properties; Hundreds of mini gas cylinders are scattered everywhere.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
