According to the assessment of the Ministry of Information and Communications, for those who enter Vietnam and make a medical declaration for the first time, they are basically satisfied. However, for those who have been in Vietnam and installed the PC-Covid or VNeID application, when re-entering Vietnam, they cannot take advantage of the existing information but have to re-declare it, causing inconvenience to people. Especially in the coming time, when Vietnam reopens tourism activities under new normal conditions, the number of domestic people going abroad and re-entering is increasing.

Therefore, from the beginning of March, the Ministry of Information and Communications asked the Ministry of Health to add the function of medical declaration for people entering the country on the PC-Covid application in order to facilitate people without having to re-declare relevant information. This proposal of the Ministry of Information and Communications received the agreement of the Ministry of Health.

Information from the National Center for Technology for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said that the health declaration function for people on entry on the PC-Covid application has been added to the new version of the application. When the new version is approved and put on the application stores of Google and Apple, users can update and use it.

In the new version of the PC-Covid application expected to be available on CH Play and Apple Store this weekend, in addition to medical declarations and domestic travel declarations, users can also make medical declarations upon entry. .

Thus, in the near future, in addition to declaring entry via tokhaiyte.vn, people entering Vietnam can also declare right on the PC-Covid epidemic prevention application. This will facilitate users who have used the PC-Covid application before, they do not need to re-enter personal information, reducing the time to declare information.

In addition, in a document sent to the Ministry of Health on March 1, the Ministry of Information and Communications also asked the Ministry of Health to guide competent medical units at border gates to accept QR codes for medical entry declaration on the application.
