Hoa Sen Group: The fire at Binh Duong factory did not affect the group’s production and business activities

At 10:18 am on March 6, there was a fire on the roof of the rust removal line area at Hoa Sen Steel Sheet Factory Binh Duongaddress number 9 Thong Nhat Avenue, Song Than II Industrial Park, Di An Ward, Di An City, Binh Duong Province.

When the fire occurred, the company deployed the company’s on-site fire protection force in coordination with the Song Than II Industrial Park Fire Police and Binh Duong Provincial Fire Police to prevent the fire from spreading. The fire was completely contained within just over an hour. At 11:45 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.

The fire took place in Song Than II Industrial Park, far from residential areas, so no one was injured, no human damage was reported. The fire damaged about 3,000 square meters of the factory roof of the rust removal line.

The fire occurred while the factory was undergoing routine maintenance, so the equipment and machinery were disassembled and moved to the maintenance workshop, only a few iron and steel mechanical parts remained in the workshop at the time of the fire. .

The property below is initially assessed to have no significant damage. All factory assets are insured by the company, the company is currently with the insurer and the authorities to complete the procedures to remedy.

It is known that the factory has been discontinued since 2019 because the company restructured its production segment, moving production to new factories near seaports with better logistics advantages. Therefore, this incident does not affect the current production and business activities of the company.
