Trinh Thi Nga is a second-year student at Hanoi Foreign Trade University. As an economics student and inspired by creative research from teachers at the university, Nga is always interested in activities of sustainable economic development and social impact. According to Nga, one of the happiest things is being able to do meaningful work for the community, in the right major, and at the same time I love it.

Ever since I was a high school student, I have had the desire to do and experience many different and meaningful things. But at that time, apart from studying hard, I didn’t have many choices, partly due to the limited number of extracurricular activities in the environment, and partly due to the expectation of having to enter my dream university, so all His focus is on learning. Now that I think about it, I feel like I was a true industrial chicken back then.

Foreign Trade University is a quality and dynamic learning environment that helps Russia perfect her skills.

Therefore, when I first entered the Foreign Trade School with many diverse group and club activities, I was overwhelmed by everyone’s talent, confidence and dynamism. It took some time to adjust initially, but gradually I found great friends and suitable extracurricular activities. Up to now, I completely believe that Foreign Trade is my home, where I can study and do the things I love.

Currently, Russia is holding the position of President of the Circular Economy Youth Community (CEYC), under the FIIS Innovation and Incubation Center, Foreign Trade University.

Currently, I am holding the position of President of the Circular Economy Youth Community (CEYC), under the FIIS Innovation and Incubation Center, Foreign Trade University. With this position, I have the opportunity to work with businesses, startups, experts, teachers and students across the country through a series of programs such as Trainer training, resource experts; Corporate Training and Student Competition on Circular Economy. I was really inspired by the enthusiasm and social responsibility of the participants.

Recently at the 13th Party Congress, the circular economy and sustainable development towards the environment also became one of the orientations of our country in the period of 2021 – 2030. I hope to spread it in the future. strongly spread the circular economy spirit to the community to contribute to the development of the country’s economy in a sustainable, economical and efficient way, and at the same time develop a strong circular economy student community, towards an environment where young people can learn, experience and have more opportunities for future development.

The journey ahead is still very long with a new project like CEYC, in order to achieve this goal, I always keep in mind that I have to keep in mind 3 things “Spirit – Attitude – Action”. In which, always keep the spirit of progress, enthusiasm to learn because spirit is the inner driving force that guides each person to define dreams and goals. Besides, surely a person with a good spirit always has a lot of energy and inspires people around. Attitude of gratitude and humility, for a young person like me, every lesson, every person, every event whether good or bad happens, I believe that all is meaningful and cherished for forming a become who you are today. At the same time, the humble attitude at the right time also helps me to re-evaluate myself and not allow me to rest on my laurels.

Finally, the most important thing is to have an action plan in the short and long term. Words are always easier than doing, without a specific action plan, the spirit and attitude will not have much meaning because there are no results to evaluate and draw experiences for yourself. It is not natural that Albert Einstein said: “Compound interest is the 8th wonder of the world”, it is because of the cumulative nature, persisting little by little, time will give us a great result. Similar in action, just work hard, persevere in action, accumulate every day until at some point, when you look back at yourself, you will also be surprised at your own ability.

Besides extracurricular activities, Nga is also interested in academic work and scientific research.

In the farther future, I hope to do work related to education and create value for the community, so I still have to accumulate and work hard every day.
