Thua Thien – Hue completed 95% of traffic flow, environmental sanitation, organization plan, ready for race day VnExpress Marathon 10/4.
To run away VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue 2022 went smoothly, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thua Thien – Hue province, said that departments and agencies had been assigned to quickly complete the coordination and organization stage. In which, the Department of Transport upgraded the road surface in the areas of Vo Van Kiet; suspend the construction of works located on the running track; relocation of curbside parking lots to ensure the best ventilation and quality for the track.

The city will strengthen environmental sanitation at all tournament areas, as well as attractions, install sanitary points to serve the needs of runners.
Hue will open all lights in the city from the night of April 9 to 6:30 a.m. on April 10, ensuring enough light for athletes to compete. Monuments, scenic spots, and parks are also enhanced with lighting systems during the tournament. There are two parking spots in the starting and finishing areas to serve athletes.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh also agreed with the Organizing Committee of VnExpress Marathon on the establishment of a quick response team with the participation of provincial police forces, traffic police, health, environment…
“Currently, the preparation work is 95% completed. We want to create all conditions for VnExpress Marathon to take place successfully. The city will appear with the most beautiful and well-groomed appearance so that runners coming here will have the best opportunities. unforgettable experience,” affirmed Vice Chairman of Thua Thien – Hue Provincial People’s Committee.
VnExpress Marathon is completing the final items such as installing the stage, functional areas, hanging banners,… Race-kit, medals have also been transported by air to Hue.

VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue 2022 will take place on April 10. The tournament brings together more than 4,000 professional runners and movements from many running groups across the country. A day earlier, the Kun Marathon children’s run will also be held with nearly 2,000 children participating.
