Vietnamese female players had an excellent match, coming back to defeat the Philippines women in the 31st SEA Games women’s soccer group A match at Cam Pha Stadium, Quang Ninh.

This is the match of two of the top contenders for the gold title at the 2021 SEA Games. Both are representatives of Southeast Asian football in the 2023 Women’s Football World Cup.
With the advantage of physical strength, the Philippines suddenly took the lead in a familiar style: a high pass was headed by captain Tahnai Annis to subdue goalkeeper Kim Thanh.
