Video of Russia’s formidable killer UAV Zala KYB

Zala KYB is built on the combat experience of the Russian armed forces in Syria from 2015 to 2018 and is currently operated by the Russian military.

Zala KYB is equipped with an electric motor, which can travel at speeds from 80km/h to 130km/h. It can carry a maximum payload of 3kg and stay in the air for 30 minutes and hit the target at a distance of nearly 40km.

The export version of Zala KYB is KUB-E which passed the state test in November 2021. This type is equipped with guided weapons.

Meanwhile, the naval version of the Zala KYB can be launched from a special launcher mounted on high-speed ships, such as the Kalashnikov BK-016 high-speed landing craft as well as other specialized ships.
