This decision takes effect from June 1.

Chairman of the Committee for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises Nguyen Hoang Anh also signed and promulgated the Decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang, Chairman of MobiFone’s Board of Members, to hold the position of Member of the Board of Members of Post and Telecommunications Group. Vietnam Communications (VNPT).

Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien will replace Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang to hold the position of Chairman of MobiFone’s Members’ Council, responsible and representative for the management of State capital at this enterprise.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien was born in 1974, has experienced many positions in state agencies and enterprises. Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien used to work at the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) and the Committee for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises. Previously, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien worked as an officer at the Office of the Ministry of Transport.

In August 2017, Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang – Member of the Board of Members of VNPT Group – was assigned and appointed as Chairman of MobiFone’s Board of Members in place of Mr. Le Nam Tra.
