Immediately after the launching ceremony, in turn, delegations including leaders, departments, branches, school units and armed forces in Thua Thien – Hue province participated in response running and collective running. with a distance of 1.3 km from Nghinh Luong Dinh (Le Duan street) through Ban gate (August 23rd), to Quang Duc gate and finish at Nghinh Luong Dinh.

After the response run, more than 350 athletes from 9 districts, cities, towns and school units, the province’s armed forces entered the competition at the 30th Thua Thien – Hue Traditional Wilderness Tournament. According to the route, athletes competed together in distances of 6.2 km and 4.2 km along the banks of the Perfume River.

As a result, in the collective run, the Thua Thien – Hue Provincial Police unit won the first prize in the armed forces; Bui Thi Xuan High School won the first prize in high schools and departments; Faculty of Physical Education – Hue University ranked first in the block of universities and colleges.

The organizers also awarded the first prize to Huong Thuy town; The second prize for Phu Vang district and Nam Dong district won the third prize.
