The pain was pushed to the extreme: More than 10 newlyweds died on a Chinese plane that went down the mountain - Photo 1.

China’s Global Times quoted a lifeguard as saying that the marriage registration papers were all newly made, in which the couples smiled sweetly. Authorities found more than a dozen such marriage certificates when searching the scene of a Boeing 737-800 with number MU5735 of China Eastern Airlines that crashed in Guangxi.

Tens of thousands of aircraft debris and remains of deceased passengers have been found.

One netizen wrote, “They are all newlyweds. It’s heartbreaking to witness such a tragedy” and said the couples were going to Yunnan to take wedding photos. The pleasant climate, beautiful natural scenery and local culture have attracted many couples to choose this place to save happy moments.

According to an earlier press conference, authorities said many remains had been found and taken to Wuzhou Funeral Home for burial and waiting for other formalities. Once the search is complete, authorities will need more time to identify the victims.

On March 26, a plane carrying 132 people crashed almost vertically down a cliff in Yunnan, China. Authorities confirmed that no one survived the tragic accident.
