This service center in the US is United Radio, a company located in Syracuse, New York.
According to Kotaku, United Radio has temporary staff from a staffing agency called Aerotek, and most of those employees rarely stay long enough to build up knowledge and expertise in Nintendo Switch repair. Because of this inexperience, United Radio has struggled to maintain its standard of 90% of repair work done within four days of receiving the customer’s faulty hardware.
To cope with the huge volume of defective Joy-Con being shipped to the center, United Radio hired additional staff to help control the workload. The problem here is that many of these employees are not native English speakers, which leads to communication problems in a “stressful” work environment. Errors in the repair process often occur.
