Explaining some of the content that the Provincial Inspector concluded was a mistake, Mr. Dinh said that when implementing the bidding package, 3T’s parent company announced to the Ministry of Health about the promotion policy “buy 3 get 1 free”. , “buy 4 get 1 free” depending on the value of the shopping contract.

However, when offering to CDC Ben Tre, 3T did not implement this promotion policy. CDC Ben Tre at that time did not know there was a promotion to negotiate.

According to Mr. Dinh, it wasn’t until the provincial inspectors got involved that they knew that this caused damage to the state. CDC Ben Tre immediately asked 3T to fix, and this company agreed to transfer 156 test kit boxes as promotional goods to CDC.

Therefore, the conclusion of the Provincial Inspector must be corrected with money at the price at the time of purchase, 300,000 VND/test kit. Meanwhile, the contractor only agrees to pay in cash at the current price, 100,000 VND/test kit “- Mr. Dinh said.

Director Nguyen Huu Dinh admitted that CDC Ben Tre was at fault in this incident and caused damage. However, he asserted: “No one has their own pockets or there is no negative in this case.”

Regarding the next steps, Mr. Dinh said that during the negotiation process, 3T Company accepted to return 2/3 of the amount of 3.4 billion VND of damage value. In the immediate future, the business has transferred 1.2 billion VND, and will continue to pay until it is enough. The remaining 1/3, Ben Tre CDC will ask the Provincial People’s Committee and competent agencies to use CDC’s service revenue to compensate for the damage.
