The semester exam questions were revealed, hundreds of 8th grade students in Binh Duong had to retake the exam

The incident happened at Phu Long Secondary School (Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province).

According to parents’ feedback, on May 16, 8th grade students at Phu Long Secondary School took the second semester exam in Literature and Citizenship Education at the school. After taking the test, the students discovered that the content of this test was exactly the same as the content of the exam that was sent to each other by a group of students before for “referencing”.

After receiving information from students, the school informed students and parents about the above “incident” and re-organized these two subjects this morning (May 21).

Some students have spread among themselves that the person who leaked the exam questions is the principal’s son. Because in the photo of the exam paper on the computer screen that went viral earlier, there was a card “Principal” placed on the table, his son is also studying at the school.

Talking by phone with PV, Mr. Phan Le Huy – Principal of Phu Long Secondary School said that the above incident was just a “small incident”. Mr. Huy said that this is only the school’s exam, so the level is not as serious as that of the Department or the Department of Education and Training.

According to Mr. Huy, after the “incident” mentioned above, the school allowed the students to retake the exam to create fairness. He also admitted to having a child studying at Phu Long Secondary School.

Ms. Huynh Thi My Ngan – Head of Education and Training Department of Thuan An City said that the unit did not know about this incident because the Phu Long Secondary School had not reported it. After receiving this information, the unit will request the school leader to have a report and specific explanation for handling measures.

It is known that grade 8 of Phu Long Secondary School has 11 classes with more than 400 students who had to retake the exam due to this “incident”.
