Representative of Vietnam to attend the Conference on Clean Economy, Green Cycle at APEC 2022

The symposium on the bio – circular – green economic model (BCG Symposium) within the framework of APEC 2022 was held in Thailand. The main objective of the BCG Symposium is to discuss and share the BCG Economic model, especially its application in small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in APEC member economies, to support economic growth. strengthen trade and investment based on sustainable and innovative economic policies.

At the Conference, Ms. Tran Hoang Phu Xuan, General Director of Fashion and Connecting Company (Fastlink) shared about Faslink’s efforts in the journey of finding raw materials, R&D and commercialization of green fabrics from waste. coffee, oyster shells, mint leaves, lotus stems and leaves, PET bottles, as well as challenges and opportunities of applying BCG model in the fashion industry in Vietnam, looking to the future net emissions to “zero” in 2050.
