British Prime Minister wins vote of no confidence

According to the published results, Prime Minister Boris Johnson passed the vote of no confidence with 211 votes in favor and 148 votes against, equivalent to 59% of support.

Speaking after the vote, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stressed that this was a convincing result, and stressed that the government and the ruling Conservative Party would continue to focus on issues that the people really attention.

The vote was held after more than 54 ruling Conservative MPs asked to hold a vote of confidence in Prime Minister Johnson.

Mr Johnson has been under increasing pressure in recent times over reports that he has been partying in his office and home at a time when Britain is under strict blockade orders to prevent spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.
