In the school year 2021-2022, the city is expected to have about 129,000 students consider graduating from lower secondary school, an increase of about 19,000 students compared to the 2020-2021 school year. It is expected that the upper secondary schools will enroll 104,000 students in 10th grade (of which about 77,000 students will go to public schools, the rest will go to private schools). Continuing education centers employ about 12,900 students. The rest attend vocational education institutions.
