The Ford Escape (or Kuma in Europe) has reached the point of being updated between the life cycle and the 2023 facelift version of the mid-size SUV discovered in Europe with many noticeable changes.
The current generation of Ford Escape will be launched in 2019, but due to the too high competition of the segment, Blue Oval may feel the pressure to update the car earlier than usual. In 2021, Escape sold 145,415 vehicles in North America, equivalent to a decrease of 18.5%. This is part of the driving force behind Ford accelerating vehicle upgrades.
Just looking at the exterior design of the Ford Escape 2023, it is possible to recognize that the front end of the car is equipped with a much more compact, sharper LED light than the current version, and at the same time forces the upper bonnet to also change slightly. The heatsink is in the middle, although it is covered quite well, but still reveals the outer border with a wider interface than before.
Meanwhile, the rear end of the Ford Escape 2023 is almost the same with the taillights keeping the overall exterior design, but the interior light interface has been refreshed, the rear bumper below is slightly tweaked.
For the time being, it is not clear what changes in the interior of the Ford Escape facelift, if there are changes, it is highly likely that the screen system and control software will be the first upgraded elements. The powertrain will almost certainly be retained compared to the old one.

Ford Escape 2023 will launch in the third or fourth quarter of this year.
In Vietnam, this model was once scheduled to launch, even being caught in Ford’s factory in Hai Duong. However, Escape is said to not be sold in Vietnam anymore, replaced with Territory.
