On some Vietnamese websites, some false information has been posted that affects the management of petroleum products and stabilizes the market. Currently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has sent a written request to the Ministry of Public Security to assist in the verification and investigation and strictly handle it according to the provisions of law.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that it has actively implemented measures such as directing to supplement the shortage of goods for localities, local stores lacking goods, inspecting and controlling the market and strictly handling business enterprises. If the petroleum business violates the law on petroleum trading, there is the act of “stashing goods, waiting for price increase”. Up to now, the supply of petroleum to the market has always been guaranteed.

Currently, the inter-Ministries of Industry, Trade and Finance have coordinated to manage petrol and oil prices in accordance with the law and the direction of the Prime Minister, in line with the developments of the domestic and world markets in each specific period. ensure the harmonization of the objectives of inflation control and macroeconomic management.
