Accordingly, the gate (main gate) of An Liet temple, which was built with lime and mortar materials, has cracks, slant, roof subsidence, falling bricks and tiles, causing danger to locals and tourists from all over the world.

The new gate now makes people regret.

Based on the serious deterioration of An Liet temple, in October 2018, Thanh Ha District People’s Committee had a report on the renovation and embellishment. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has submitted a request to the Provincial People’s Committee to send a document to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to agree on the policy and appraise the economic – technical report, design and construction drawings of the renovation work. embellishing the national-ranked relic of An Liet temple with the following items: money, ritual, yard and fence.

On December 10, 2018, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Official Letter No. 5568/BVHTTDL-DSVH on the agreement on economic – technical reports to restore and embellish the relics of An Liet temple for the owner. investment (People’s Committee of Thanh Hai commune) implements the next steps.

According to records, An Liet temple was repaired and embellished with the following items: Pre-faith house, ritual house, yard and fence. From 2019, the locality started to carry out the restoration, embellishment and completed parts. However, the actual inspection results of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism showed that the item of An Liet temple ritual was not in accordance with the design documents.

Specifically, the economic – technical report, design and construction drawings for renovation and embellishment show that An Liet temple is designed with an ancient match-stack architecture of 8 roofs, including 1 main gate. and 2 auxiliary gates, the ship’s knife crosses the angle, the roof corners are covered with knives, the roof clamp follows the archetypal archetype of the old Nghi Mon gate. While the status quo has been renovated and embellished with four pillars, no roof, metal doors.

“The cause of the above incident was explained by the leader of Thanh Hai Commune People’s Committee due to lack of funding, so it has not been completed according to the approved design documents,” Hai Duong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said.

Therefore, the Department has requested the People’s Committee of Thanh Ha District to coordinate and direct the People’s Committee of Thanh Hai Commune (the investor) to mobilize all resources to complete the construction work in accordance with the economic – technical report. , designing construction drawings for the restoration and embellishment of An Liet temple, made by Hai Duong Cultural Works Construction and Repair Joint Stock Company and agreed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Official Dispatch No. 5568.

At the same time, urgently complete the renovation and embellishment to put the work into use, meeting the needs of people and tourists from all over the world to visit and admire the relics.

Previously, social networks spread information and images of the old gate of An Liet temple in Thanh Hai commune (Thanh Ha district, Hai Duong) and the image of a new gate in the style of four pillars, no roof, metal doors. Since then, many opinions have suggested that the restoration of the ritual gate is not original, which has affected the value of the historical and cultural relics of An Liet temple.

Mr. Vu Truong Son, Head of Cultural Heritage Management Department (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong) affirmed that the delegation of the An Liet temple ceremony was in accordance with the process and thoroughly appraised. However, the fact that the locality has not yet restored the temple according to the design documents has caused public opinion to misunderstand that the relic gate is demolished to build as it is now.
