Admire Hue’s royal antiquities with your own eyes
(Dan Tri) – This morning (March 26), at the Vietnam – Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, Hanoi, the opening exhibition titled “Vietnam’s Royal Antiquities” took place.
The exhibition is organized by enthusiastic collectors in the Hue Royal Antiquities Collection Association with the desire to help the public see, learn and have a better view of Hue royal culture – the cultural identity of Hue. The unique culture of a dynasty is associated with changes and ups and downs in the flow of national history.

The exhibition introduces more than 200 artifacts collected over a long period of time by people who are enthusiastic, passionate and love Hue royal antiquities.
In addition to introducing the cultural and artistic values of Hue’s royal court, the exhibition also re-enacts cultural life spirit of all classes of people under the Nguyen dynasties, from the Le – Trinh dynasties to the Tay Son, Minh Mang, Thieu Tri, Tu Duc, Bao Dai dynasties…

In addition, the exhibition also displays a number of royal embroidered paintings such as dragon robes, white robes, phoenix robes, unique utensils for princes and princesses, etc., created by talented and enthusiastic hands of the royal family. Collector Thanh Ngoc – representative of the Organizing Committee said: “Talking to Hue culture is referring to a land with many traditional craft villages with products that crystallize values from labor, creativity, and culture. The community has lived for many generations such as: My Xuyen Sculpture Village, Phuoc Tich Pottery, Thanh Tien paper flowers, Sinh village folk paintings, ancient capital embroidery, Bao La knitting, Da Le god, Phuong Duc bronze casting, weaving Zèng A Luoi… and many other cultural sites.
