TikTok tests the function of finding video viewing history-Information Technology

TikTok is testing a new “video history” feature, which will most likely help users find videos that have not yet been saved but have disappeared from the suggestions section.

Twitter account Hammod Oh (@hammodoh1), which often reveals new features being tested by social networking platforms, was the first to discover this feature of TikTok. Hammod Oh’s screenshot shows that TikTok users can access their video viewing history under the “Content and Activity” section of the app’s settings.

Before that, some TikTok users had found their own way to review “lost” videos. In early 2022, the “rachforaday” account’s video on how to find videos watched within 7 days has received more than 32 million views and more than 5.5 million likes.

Another approach instructs users to download all their data from the TikTok application, then access the zip file containing their video viewing history.

If TikTok’s watch history feature is officially launched, the above complicated ways will no longer be necessary and users of this application will be able to find videos watched more easily. TikTok side said it has not shared more information about the test at the moment.
