Ministry of Finance regulates lottery companies

In a newly released document, the Ministry of Finance said that in the past time, many times have sent press releases about businesses providing the service “Place 1 to 70”, the results are calculated according to the last two numbers of the special lottery prize. the North and some websites and service providers to buy lottery tickets for them.

The Ministry of Finance is coordinating with the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Information and Communications to handle these cases in accordance with the law.

The Ministry of Finance has also issued a Correction Letter to the Lottery Companies of the provinces and centrally-run cities, and the Vietnam Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company. At the same time, send it to the People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to coordinate, manage and supervise lottery business activities, ensuring compliance with the provisions of law.

“Violations on distribution of lottery tickets will be strictly handled,” emphasized the Ministry of Finance.

According to regulations on lottery business, traditional lottery tickets are only allowed to distribute lottery tickets according to the method specified in the Certificate of eligibility for business issued by the Ministry of Finance or under the agency contract approved by the Ministry of Finance. signed with a lottery business (sold directly to customers or distributed through the lottery agent system).
