The male teacher said that the process to get a pencil artwork is also quite elaborate. In addition to preforming, the maker uses a paper cutter to sketch, then draw patterns, shape and finally polish to complete the work. Completion time for each work ranges from a few hours to several days.

Not only carving on pencil wooden body, Mr. Kien also tried his hand at sculpting on pencil core, extremely small and difficult works, this requires concentration and meticulousness.
