Five girls tragically drowned in Thanh Hoa, found their bodies
At 12 noon this afternoon, functional forces found the girl’s body in a drowning incident at the spillway of Thang Long village, Thieu Hop commune, Thieu Hoa district (Thanh Hoa).
The victims include: granddaughter Le Thi Bich P.; Le Thi Thai T.; Le Phuong N.; Le Bao T.; Mai Thanh H. are both studying in grade 6 in Thieu Duy commune.
Before that, around 1pm on April 4, all 5 students mentioned above invited each other to go to school, but did not return home in the afternoon. The children’s family contacted the teacher and she told them that they were absent from school.

At 8 pm on the same day, the children’s family went to find their bicycles, phones and 3 pairs of plastic sandals at the dam bank in Thang Long village, Thieu Hop commune.
Immediately, the children’s family reported to the local authorities to coordinate the search.
On the same day, Mr. Le Duc Giang, Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, together with organizations, unions and authorities of Thieu Hoa district came to burn incense, support, encourage and share with the families of drowning victims. , encourage family to overcome traumatic loss, soon stabilize production.
