The Politburo agreed to assign Deputy Minister Do Xuan Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Personnel Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee, to temporarily run the Ministry of Health from June 7.
Mr. Ha Anh Duc, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Health, said that the Ministry has received the official dispatch from the Party Central Committee’s Office announcing the above personnel assignment.

Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen 56 years old, graduated from Military Medical Academy, used to hold many positions in the locality such as: Deputy Director, Director of Health Center of Hung Yen City; Vice Chairman, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hung Yen City; Head of Propaganda Department of Provincial Party Committee; Head of Organization Department of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee.
In June 2016, he was the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, then was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council. He has held the position of Deputy Health Minister since December 2019.
The Ministry of Health currently has four deputy ministers: Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong and Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Nguyen Truong Son, and Tran Van Thuan. Mr. Nguyen Truong Son has applied resign.
